Synopsis:
Attackers continue to evolve their techniques and level of sophistication while customers continue to expand their connected footprints. This creates a perfect storm for breaches and loss of business integrity. To combat this, customers need to break away from traditional concepts that relies heavily on “best-of-breed” multi-vendor approaches and instead, adopt “next generation” security practices that combine best-of-breed AND seamless integrated architectures that reduce complexity while increasing security effectiveness measured in “time-to-detection” and ability to contain and remediate as quickly as possible.

Presented by Mr. Garrick Ng, Chief Technology Officer, Cisco Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan

Synopsis:
We need to think like a hacker in order to come up with an effective cybersecurity solution. We will take you into the Dark Web where cyber criminals sell their stolen credit card and offer their hacking services. In today’s threat landscape, we need an integrated security architecture instead of point products at the perimeter. We need visibility and continuous monitor capability to expose the threats hiding in your network. We will show you a real APT attack (hack another machine, copy their file, get their password, etc,) and how Cisco RTC solution will stop the attack automatically. We will also revisit the Taiwan ATM incident and learn how we could have avoided it with better visibility. For effective security, we need to go one step further. We will show you how OpenDNS/Cisco Umbrella change the game from reactive security to predictive security. Lastly, we will look into IoT security with a live demo of IoT Hack, which we will hack a lift model on stage. Cisco has the expertise and solution to address IoT security.
